I’m Rasa Urbanavičiūtė, a psychologist helping people overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Consultations are available in person or online, in Lithuanian or English.
I work using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, and I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy for trauma recovery. In my sessions, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where you can be fully yourself. I believe that true healing begins when we feel heard, accepted, and genuinely supported.

Every person’s story is unique, so therapy is tailored to your needs. Together, we will:
Explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
Use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to understand and shift unhelpful patterns
Practice mindfulness to stay grounded and present
Apply EMDR therapy for trauma work, when appropriate
My aim is to support and empower you, helping you take meaningful steps toward positive change.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps people identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors focusing on the interaction among thoughts, emotions, and actions. In a CBT session, we challenge unhelpful thoughts, explore triggers, while also applying more practical tools like relaxation techniques, goal setting, and behavioral experiments to build healthier coping patterns.
Mindfulness is the practice of bringing gentle, nonjudgmental awareness to the present moment - our thoughts, feelings, and sensations. We are learning to accept them as they are, and in this way we cultivate more calm and clarity. In a therapy session, we might practice mindfulness through deep, guided breathing, body scans, or noticing thoughts as they come and go, helping you stay grounded and connected to the here and now.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process and heal from distressing memories and trauma by reducing their emotional impact. In an EMDR session, we focus on specific memories and use bilateral stimulation (activating both brain hemispheres) - such as guided eye movements or tapping - to help reprocess and properly integrate the memory.
